Baikal lake freeze in 2014 year, does not it?
Thanks not a Siberian warm winter Baikal in no hurry to cover it with a mighty ice cap. Lake begins to freeze in the north and, as a rule, by 10 January, the Caspian is almost no open water areas. Over the past 30 years, a record late Baikal rose 28 January 1989. Let's see whether this will break the record in 2014. Photos are pictures taken from space 15, 17, 20 and 23 January.
